The Old Grey Whistle Test was a British television music program hosted by Bob Harris that aired on BBC 2 television from September 21st 1971 to December 31st 1987. The show covered mainly non-chart music, contrary to Top Of The Pops by BBC 1.
The Runaways appeared in episode #7.6 prior to their British leg of the European “School Days” tour in October 1977.
